Pressure transmitters use a pressure sensitive diaphragm to provide extremely accurate continuous indication with a4-20ma output. These sensors are made of 316 stainless steel housings that are sealed and rated submersible.
Operating Principle
The pressure transmitter measures the hydrostatic head of the liquid above the port of the transmitter. It senses the difference in pressure as the liquid rises and falls in the tank and translates that difference into a 4-20ma signal output.
