The SM-1000-SS Stainless Steel Side-Mount Float Switch is a robust, high-performance level sensor specifically engineered for side-entry installations, making it ideal for applications where top access to tanks or vessels is restricted or impractical. With a maximum operating pressure of 500 PSI and a wide temperature range of -40°F to 300°F, this float switch is capable of functioning in extreme process conditions without degradation. The internal SPST reed switch is rated at 70 VA, allowing it to switch up to 150 VAC or 200 VDC, with a maximum current handling capacity of 0.7A AC or 1.0A DC. The SM-1000-SS includes 24-inch long, 20 AWG PVC-insulated lead wires, providing secure, insulated connections that are resistant to temperature and chemical exposure.
