Description

The LS-12-110 Brass & Buna Single-Level Float Switch is a reliable, cost-effective solution for general-purpose liquid level sensing in both industrial and commercial applications. The float is constructed from Buna-N (Nitrile Rubber), a material well known for its superior buoyancy, chemical resistance, and long service life. It performs exceptionally well in lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, gasoline, diesel fuel, and water, making it a preferred choice for a wide range of fluid handling systems, including fuel tanks, compressors, hydraulic reservoirs, and engine sumps. The Buna float resists swelling and degradation over time, even with extended exposure to hydrocarbons.

The mounting stem is built from durable brass, providing a balance of corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, while maintaining a lower material cost than stainless steel. The unit is vertically mounted via standard threading, allowing for quick integration into new or existing systems.

This model features a reversible float that can be easily adjusted during installation to operate in either Normally Open (N.O.) or Normally Closed (N.C.) mode, offering flexibility to match different system requirements without the need for separate parts.

Internally, the float switch houses a SPST reed switch rated at 70 VA, capable of handling up to 150 VAC or 200 VDC, with a maximum switching current of 0.7A AC or 1.0A DC.
