The LS-11-050 Stainless Steel Single-Level Float Switch is a compact, high-performance liquid level sensor engineered for precise and reliable operation in demanding industrial and commercial environments. Designed for vertical mounting, this float switch features a 0.90″ float diameter, allowing it to fit easily through a standard 3/4″ NPT female coupling, making installation simple and compatible with most industry-standard fittings.

Constructed entirely from 316 stainless steel, the LS-11-050 is built to endure high-temperature and high-pressure environments, offering long-term durability in systems that handle aggressive chemicals, petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, or high-temperature water. The rugged, corrosion-resistant body ensures consistent performance in harsh process applications and is suitable for use in chemical tanks, boilers, cooling systems, fuel reservoirs, and hydraulic circuits.

This model is equipped with a SPDT reed switch rated at 8 VA, supporting up to 100 VAC/DC with a maximum current of 0.25A, making it ideal for signal-level applications, alarms, or interfacing with PLCs or automation controllers. The float activates at a specific gravity of 0.71, allowing it to function effectively in a range of fluid densities.

The LS-11-050 includes 24-inch, 20 AWG PVC-insulated lead wires, designed to withstand elevated temperatures and exposure to moisture and chemicals. As with all float switches in this series, the unit is shipped in a Normally Open (N.O.) configuration, but the float can be inverted to switch the operation to Normally Closed (N.C.), offering flexibility during installation without the need for separate components.

With an operational temperature range of -40°F to 300°F and a pressure rating up to 400 PSI, this float switch is well-suited for critical control and monitoring applications in industrial process environments.
